Creating Everyday Possibilities: My Journey of Digital Transformation and Innovation


In the ever-evolving landscape of digitalization, I have always believed that passion drives innovation, transforming organizations and enhancing customer experiences. My name is Holy, and I am a dedicated leader in Globe’s Network Digitalization Division, formerly from the OSS/Operations System Support under the Network Technical Group. Through strategic planning, governance, and a relentless pursuit of innovation, I play a crucial role in creating a Globe of Good.

My Role in Driving Change


I lead the Digitalization Planning and Governance section, ensuring that digital transformation initiatives are not only strategically aligned but also well-governed and successfully implemented. Working closely with IT, aftersales, operations, finance, and various business units, my team drives digital initiatives that improve efficiency, foster innovation, and elevate the customer experience.

A Project That Defined My Growth


Among the many impactful projects I have worked on, Project Handyman stands out as a milestone in my career. It was my first Globe Excellence Award (GEA) win in 2022, and it significantly improved the way Globe supports its customers. This in-house developed tool remotely diagnoses and troubleshoots wired subscribers' connections, empowering customer service frontliners to resolve issues efficiently.


This project showed me the direct impact of our innovations on customers. Knowing that we are enhancing their experience and making troubleshooting more efficient is incredibly fulfilling.

Handyman’s key features include:


  • First-line testing and troubleshooting for early issue resolution.

  • Accurate diagnosis and recommendations to reduce unnecessary truck rolls.

  • Seamless work order management for improved field support.

  • A knowledge base for customer service representatives to provide better analysis and guidance.

Shaping the Future with Shadow Board


I was also fortunate to be part of Globe’s Shadow Board, an HR initiative designed to develop future leaders. Alongside fellow representatives from various NTG divisions—Mekaela Cañamo from GSCC, Fernz Nolasco from NPE, Vivi Novelino from TND, Cris Cancio from PD, Zhanna Gica and Nix Planillo from OPS, and Krizia Valdez from SMD—I had the privilege of being mentored by TSE Head Arlene Mendoza and other NTG leaders under the leadership of Robert Tan. This program provided us with invaluable insights into leadership and strategic decision-making. It also enabled us to collaborate on high-impact projects aimed at business model reinvention and process transformation.


Some of the key initiatives I worked on included:


  1. IPIN (IP Inventory) - A unified NTG server asset database in Maximo.

  2. PSYCHE - A web and mobile app designed to automate physical activity tracking and optimization.

  3. Bot Improvement - Enhancements to Globe’s aftersales service bots to elevate customer satisfaction.


Being part of the Shadow Board was an enriching experience. It opened my eyes to the importance of continuous learning, strategic thinking, and collaboration in driving meaningful change.

A Recognized Leader in Innovation


My passion for innovation was once again recognized with another GEA win for PawerApp, a mobile application designed to empower CFS Technicians. This in-house solution dramatically improved work efficiency through process automation and integration with multiple data sources.


PawerApp’s impact:


  • Provides a single access point for critical information.

  • Enables proactive decision-making with greater visibility of operational areas.

  • Automates manual validation processes, reducing handling time for tasks.


The moment I was recognized on stage for GEA was truly fulfilling. It was a reminder that all the hard work and dedication were worth it, especially knowing that these innovations benefit our customers.

My future with Globe excites me because it offers a lot of opportunities, especially on the leadership side, to improve new ways of working and also to continue to provide automations to our customers.
