I've been with Globe for nine years, and for me, Globe is a fertile land. Just as with rich soil, growth requires active engagement. If you plant seeds and nurture them, they will flourish.



Like anyone starting a new career in a different company, the initial transition can be challenging. Having come from a startup where I knew everyone and everything moved at a rapid pace, adapting to a large organization like Globe Telecom required me to navigate a different landscape. I had to learn whom to approach, how to collaborate with various teams, and clarify my role while figuring out how to perform it effectively.


Throughout my nine years at Globe, I have never felt neglected. Globe genuinely cares for its people—not just in terms of benefits and compensation, but also by investing in their professional development and upskilling.

While it took some time to adjust, once I found my rhythm, I earned the trust of my leaders and colleagues. This realization empowered me, as I came to understand that even my small contributions can have significant impacts on a large organization. Working at Globe has always been a fulfilling experience for me.

Every day in my current role, I have the chance to make a meaningful impact on our customers' lives.

During the pandemic, I became part of a significant reorganization when the Digital Growth Team was established, now called Product Experience. We had little clarity about our expectations or whom we would collaborate with. As someone who embraces challenges and readily accepts them, I took the plunge. Starting a new role and working alongside teammates I had only met online was tough, but within just four months, we successfully launched our first release. This experience demonstrated to me the essence of true passion and collaboration.

It tested my grit, patience, and resilience; but it also showed me the endless possibilities where I can use my talent and skills to make a difference in our customers’ lives. It also humbled me as I learned new things from colleagues from different teams. Lastly, it pushed me to my limits. I now understand when to take a step back and let others take the lead.


What I look forward to most in my work at Globe are the endless possibilities that lie ahead.

Every day in my current role, I have the chance to make a meaningful impact on our customers' lives. It can be as simple as identifying a button that's missing from a website. When we notice it, we take action to fix it, and that single change can significantly enhance a customer's experience. The opportunities are truly abundant—endless, in fact. It’s up to us to drive change, make an impact, and determine how we want to address the challenges and opportunities that surround us.

Our team is relatively new, and to ensure effective collaboration, we start our days early with daily huddles. These team meetings have helped us get to know one another while also figuring out how to work efficiently as a united front. We continuously seek new technologies and innovations to improve our customers' experiences, look for challenges to address for our customers, agents, and field personnel; and discuss the next big ideas we can bring to our customers. These discussions have become an integral part of what I look forward to each day.

During the pandemic, I truly experienced Globe's unwavering support. The company ensured we had everything we needed to continue not only our work but also to care for our families.

One of the most important factors for effective collaboration within our team is approaching each day with an open mind, especially given that we are newly formed. We are working with individuals we have not collaborated with before and may not know either professionally or personally. It’s essential to remember that we are all striving towards a common goal and a shared objective. Everyone is on this journey together, and I realize I am not alone. This mindset is what fosters a truly effective collaborative team.

During the pandemic, I truly experienced Globe's unwavering support. The company ensured we had everything we needed to continue not only our work but also to care for our families. RT-PCR test centers were made available for me and my family, and when I needed surgery, the process for obtaining approvals from our healthcare partners and filing of SSS claims was seamless and efficient.

What I look forward to most in my work at Globe are the endless possibilities that lie ahead. I started in an IT role, then transitioned to focus on digital growth and transformation, and now I'm in a position closer to product and customer experience. I know that the opportunities are limitless. The future is uncertain; you never know what role awaits you or what projects will come your way. However, being open to these possibilities excites me, and I recognize that I can continue to grow and flourish as long as I remain receptive and empowered to embrace them.


This is a tough industry. It's never going to be easy wherever you go. You will be presented with challenges and opportunities. And if you do decide to join Globe, embrace those opportunities because they will lead you to new paths and experiences.
