Globe is my dream company. I’ve been with Globe for 10 years now. You may ask what made me stay for a decade in this organization, and that is because of 3 things – the company culture, the people I work with, and the work that I do.
I started with Globe as part of the Small and Medium Business group (previously called Globe myBusiness), then transferred to the Credit and Billing, Compliance & Governance, CLSG Law & Compliance departments, and now with the Partnerships Standards and Continuous Improvement under the Globe Broadband Business.
One of my favorite things about Globe is the flexibility that the organization provides to its employees.
The work in Globe is not stagnant. It provides us with opportunities to hone our own capabilities and be in the driver’s seat to take on our passions and interests. There are several career paths to explore internally and apply for a role with another group for career advancement and self growth, like when I transferred to my current team to pursue a managerial role.

More than the work that I do, I truly appreciate Globe’s benefits that can be extended to my family members like my husband and daughter. I was also able to support the health and wellbeing of my mother, mother-in-law, and father-in-law, who are all senior citizens, through the healthcare benefit of Globe. This contributes to my love and care for the company, both personally and professionally.
I know and feel that Globe has malasakit, not only to me, but also to my loved ones.
The biggest learning I've gained from Globe is the value of teamwork – how we work together as a team and support one another in every step of the way. We’ve built trust with one another, and remain open in providing and hearing inputs, suggestions, and recommendations to ensure we achieve our collective objectives. The guidance and support of our immediate supervisors are always there as well, in every simple or complicated task.

At Globe, our leaders are very supportive, both at a department-level and Globe as a whole. When I transferred to the Broadband Business group to pursue a managerial role, my former immediate supervisor, Atty. Nina Mikaela Sarmiento, empowered and encouraged me more with this career move, even though it meant that I’ll be leaving the team. The support continued on with my current team, led by Joyna Casayuran and Neil Edward Santos III, who not only made me feel welcomed, but also prepared, guided, and equipped me with the right tools and knowledge for this role.
Every task at Globe is an extraordinary experience for me.

In one of my roles in Globe for SG and EG Credit Policies, Credit, Billing & Risk Management, I was trusted to come up with detailed credit and business policies for the Small and Medium and the Enterprise Business Group. This entailed a lot of research and consultations with the Credit Policy, Fraud and Business Groups. The need for collaboration and support to be able to complete and cascade to the Operations and Sales Teams was manageable, and it opened me to getting to know more talented colleagues and widen my social network. I feel and claim that this was one of my most memorable projects in Globe.

By feeling cared for by my co-employees, my supervisors, and our bosses at Globe, I discover joy in each day at work. These wonderful moments make me look forward to gaining more experiences and learnings at Globe and to giving back to the company I’m grateful for through my hard work and results.
Throughout the whole decade (and counting) of my stay in Globe, the experience of working for this company has always been remarkable and life-changing. Be a Ka-Globe and create everyday possibilities!
