From Teamwork to Transformation: Lessons from 5 Years at Globe

Updated: 6 days ago

Discover inspiring lessons on teamwork, growth, and dedication from Kit Dela Rosa’s five-year journey at Globe, highlighting the transformative power of a teachable spirit and a passionate, supportive community.

I started at Globe in 2019, and so far, it's been an enjoyable experience filled with valuable learning opportunities. I celebrated my five-year anniversary last June 2024, and this milestone is meaningful to me because I dedicate much of my time to work. Globe’s familiar comfort and supportive environment enable me to be productive every day.

Globe prioritizes individual development, evident in its various employee learning programs, such as Globe University, and through its mentorship initiatives.

One of the key takeaways from my time at Globe is the importance of being teachable. Being teachable is one of the most valuable characteristics you can possess.

Hosted the AWS PartyRock collaboration with Globe, alongside the EDS Data Strategy Group!

Working with my teammates, collaborating, and sharing a bond with them—even outside of work—has been a truly rewarding experience. I’m happiest when I’m with my teammates because we share the same sense of humor, support each other, and know each other’s families. It’s like having an extended group of friends.

A significant lesson I’ve learned while working with my team is that while individual contributions are valuable, it’s teamwork—the collective effort—that drives success and resolves challenges more effectively.

Working at Globe isn’t for the faint of heart, but if you enjoy what you do and are passionate about the results, it feels natural to put in the effort. Even when I’m at home, I find myself thinking about work, and that’s okay because I know I’m making an impact for our customers.

There are no limits to what you can contribute to the company you work for.

When you adopt the mindset of caring like an owner, the passion to work hard and solve problems comes naturally. This mindset is essential for all employees, as it fosters accountability and a drive for excellence.

Together, we make every moment picture-perfect—Oh My G with the best team!

I look forward to continued learning and growth, both professionally and personally. Globe prioritizes individual development, evident in its various employee learning programs, such as Globe University, and through its mentorship initiatives. I’m excited for what lies ahead.
