100 Ways Ka-Globe Feels Appreciated

It started with an email.


On February 29, 2024, our CHRO Ato Jiao called on Globe leaders to send simple messages of appreciation to their people.


“You can make them cry happy tears or make them laugh,” Ato wrote in his letter. “What’s important is to make the messages personal, written specifically for the person you’re writing to.”


What followed was a chain of gratitude that reached the desks and inboxes of every Ka-Globe, all to #CelebrateYou. Managers received messages from their heads and then sent their own to their teams. Colleagues gave each other Wanda e-cards to show appreciation.

Come Monday, employees at offices nationwide were greeted by Affirmation Mirrors and Kindness Boards. The Kindness Board allowed them to write and take uplifting notes, and the mirrors reminded them to extend appreciation to themselves, too.


2024 is shaping up to be another big year for Globe. The two-week #CelebrateYou is an affirmation of who we are – as we continue to pivot from telco to TechCo, the heart of what we do remains the same.
