You're a Globe Pathfinder: Finding Your Own Path, Not Just Following One
Four AGSIP and Globe Pathfinder interns open up about culture shock, unexpected roles, and the moments that taught them the best path is the one you create yourself.
What happens when four interns from completely different backgrounds — a speech communication graduate, an IT grad, a computer science student, and a financial management major — all end up at Globe through the Ayala Group Summer Internship Program? Unexpected encounters, honest conversations, and the kind of lessons you don't find in a textbook.
In this episode of the Possibilities Unplugged podcast, host Rizhel Kyla Dionisio sits down with fellow Globe Pathfinder interns Sofia Kirsten Torrenueva, Nazarene Caoilin, and Joshua Dampil to get real about what this experience has actually been like — from the first-day nerves to the moments that changed how they see themselves.

Each intern chose one word to describe their Globe journey so far. None of them said "easy." None said "expected." And that, in itself, says everything about what the Globe Pathfinder Program really is.

“Working in an enterprise isn't just about how fast you can build something. It's about how well you can work with other people to build the right things.”
- Joshua Dampil
“Do it scared. Apply even when you feel unqualified. Every moment of discomfort is a step toward becoming more confident and more yourself.”
- Rizhel Kyla Dionisio
They talk about the intern who was days away from signing with another company before Globe changed his plans. The returning intern who manifested her way back to the BGC office — and the real work behind that manifestation. The finance student who found herself thriving in a role she never imagined. And the host who learned that the best career moves don't always follow a straight line.
"Don't just come here expecting to find a perfect path. Come here willing to create it."
- Sofia Kirsten Torrenueva
Along the way, they share the culture shocks that surprised them, the mentors who shaped them, and the advice they wish someone had given them before they started.
“Sometimes, we only discover what we're capable of when we allow ourselves to try new things.”
- Nazarene Caoilin
