Reflecting on my journey in cybersecurity, I realize it’s all about one thing: the power of ideas. Every solution, every conversation, and every new approach I bring to the table is about crafting a stronger, more resilient future.
At Globe, I’ve come to see that true innovation isn’t just the result of big breakthroughs—it’s the small ideas, the fresh perspectives, and the open collaboration that push us forward. When we share our ideas openly, we’re building a digital landscape that’s safer, more inclusive, and ready for whatever challenges come next.
My role has been a constant evolution, one driven by the need to stay ahead of the ever-changing landscape of cyber threats. Leading the implementation of our security programs, especially those involving cutting-edge AI, is both a challenge and a motivation. Seeing how our efforts elevate Globe’s security posture, build trust among our customers, and position us as leaders in converged IT and network cybersecurity—that’s what inspires me daily. It’s not just about protecting; it’s about pioneering a future where Globe continues to set the standard.

One moment that truly reminded me of the impact of our work was when we successfully blocked scams, spam messages, and piracy—actions that directly influence how secure and confident our customers feel about Globe. It’s gratifying to know the impact of our ideas, not only safeguarding our brand but also uplifting the trust of millions who rely on us. Equally fulfilling is seeing our internal teams develop a heightened sense of vigilance, making security a shared responsibility integrated into their daily routines.

Beyond the technical realm, what fuels my passion is a mindset rooted in growth and innovation. Continuous self-improvement and openness to new ideas are what keep me motivated to do better every day. I believe that in cybersecurity, the learning process never ends. That same commitment to progress guides my approach—not overcomplicating things, just making solutions simple, effective, and accessible. My hope is that my daily actions such as kindling ideas, simplifying processes, and encouraging others to contribute, can inspire my team and beyond to foster a culture of innovation and shared responsibility.
Personally, I enjoy taking mindful breaks, exploring the world, and playing the drums—yes, I even played at one of Globe ISDP’s thanksgiving parties! I’m a simple man who loves spending time with family and friends. My love for music and travel helps me recharge and reminds me that, just like in cybersecurity, life is about continuous adaptation and discovery. As I focus on my well-being, I realize that maintaining a balanced perspective fuels my dedication and keeps me open to learning and growth in both my personal and professional life.
I see Globe continuing to lead in cybersecurity innovation, staying agile in an increasingly complex digital landscape. My vision is a future where Globe not only adapts but anticipates technology trends, utilizing AI and new processes to protect Filipinos and uplift our nation’s cybersecurity standards. I want my team to feel empowered, to share their ideas freely, and to help us build resilience—because resilience, after all, is the true goal.
