At Globe, we don’t define who you should be—we create a space where you can show up as yourself, love in ways that are true to you, and be your own color—whether bold, soft, bright, or striking. Because when you thrive as your authentic self, the entire community shines brighter.
On June 25, 2025, the Globe community transformed The Globe Tower and its regional offices across the country into a vibrant parade of colors, courage, and compassion, as we celebrated Pride Day with unwavering enthusiasm and heartfelt commitment.

Hosted by the very energetic Ka-Globe Bernie Roxas from Group Sustainability and Corporate Communications and Eugene Sangalang from B2B, the event was a powerful testament to this year's core theme: “Together, we love out loud.” 🏳️🌈
#PrideWednesday: Show Your True Colors
Every Wednesday of June was #PrideWednesday — a weekly celebration of individuality where Ka-Globe wore their Pride-inspired outfits, shared their stories, and captured moments of self-expression. It was inspiring to see colleagues proudly flaunt their styles, knowing each photo was a declaration of presence and acceptance. One Ka-Globe shared:
“Today I wore what makes me happy. It’s a reminder that love and authenticity are always enough.”
Allyship is an ongoing commitment. We stand with our LGBTQIA+ colleagues and are dedicated to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for everyone. #PrideWednesday #PrideAtWork #Allyship #DiversityandInclusion #YouAreIncluded

This weekly movement built momentum for inclusivity and visibility, transforming the workplace into a colorful tapestry of diverse identities and voices.
Marching in Pride: A Bold Declaration of Unity

The day's most memorable moment was our Globe Pride March — a lively procession around The Globe Tower and regional offices filled with energy, hope, and purpose. Armed with rainbow props and cheers, the team marched as one, a physical expression of our unwavering support for the LGBTQ+ community.
The march down to the Steps of Pride and around the building premises was more than a walk; it was a statement of acceptance and love, embodying the belief that everyone deserves to be their true selves without fear or hesitation.
A participant reflected:
“In that march, I felt a sense of belonging I hadn’t felt before. It’s powerful to see how we can rally around this cause and truly support each other.”
The march reinforced our culture of inclusivity—showing that visibility is a daily act of love, not just a moment in June.
Regional Pride: Celebrations Across Globe Offices
Our pride festivities extended beyond the Globe Tower, enveloping our regional offices in a wave of color and unity. Ka-Globe in these regions didn’t just watch; they participated with heartfelt enthusiasm in their own internal Pride marches, echoing the same resounding support for the LGBTQ+ community.
In our Davao office, our Ka-Globe expressed their talent through arts and crafts as they did their own office pride decorations. The team also enjoyed pizza together as part of their pride celebration.
Meanwhile, our Cagayan De Oro office mirrored the spirit of inclusivity with vibrant Pride decorations that set the tone for joy and acceptance. They set a colorful pride corner with a selfie mirror, and decorated the entrance door and hallway with a variety of rainbow-colored art paper.
One Ka-Globe from Cagayan De Oro shared:
“Marching with colleagues in our local office felt empowering. It reminded us that no matter where we are, we’re part of a larger, supportive community."
These regional celebrations highlighted that Globe's commitment to love out loud and fostering an inclusive environment knows no bounds.
Leadership’s Heartfelt Words: Building Momentum for Lasting Change
The event’s opening remarks set the tone. Nico Bambao, Vice President and Head of HR People Experience, delivered a stirring message:
“When we say ‘People at the center,’ we mean every person—especially those whose voices and identities have long been pushed aside. Today’s conversation goes beyond policies—it’s about creating ripple effects for long-term change."

She emphasized Globe’s commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging 2025 — from partnering with industry experts to strengthen our understanding, to establishing inclusion networks in the organization, and elevating storytelling that fosters a culture of empathy and shared responsibility.

Nico added:
“Let’s listen with empathy, speak boldly when moved, and celebrate loudly—because when we show up for one another, not just in June, but every day, we create a workplace where everyone can thrive.”
The message was clear: love out loud is a daily practice that transforms organizational culture.
Safe Spaces: Policy and Practice in Action

Globe Senior Manager for Labor Relations and Employee Engagement DJ Permalino’s Safe Spaces Policy 101 underscored the organization’s dedication to fostering a respectful, harassment-free environment. She emphasized:
“Our commitment goes beyond legal compliance; it’s about cultivating kindness, fairness, and mutual respect. When we create safe spaces, we nurture belonging and signal that every voice matters."
She shared how small acts—calling out microaggressions, supporting a colleague’s vulnerability, or simply listening—contribute to building a community based on trust and love.

Ignite Inclusion: Fireside Chat
Further enriching the day was the fireside chat, a relaxed, honest, and heartfelt conversation that delved into real stories of pride, courage, allyship, and growth.

Moderated by seasoned diversity, equity, and inclusion strategist Dawn Mendoza, and featuring panelists EJ Nacion, the fearless Filipina model, influencer, and LGBTQ+ advocate, Jay Ian Fegalan, Vice-Chairperson of the Philippine Financial Inter-Industry Pride (PFIP), and our very own Ka-Globe Lexy Aurelio, Core Transport Planning Expert, and Reg Capili, Convergent Segments Strategy Manager, the discussion highlighted the daily realities and triumphs of creating truly safe and inclusive spaces.
Their stories and insights sparked inspiration, reminding us that inclusion is rooted in genuine understanding and everyday acts of kindness.

Talent and Creativity: Celebrating Diversity Through Art
The celebration also shone a spotlight on the incredible talents within Globe. Our Pride Talent Showcase featured electrifying performances that truly embodied the spirit of love and self-expression.
Our talented drag queens, Matilduh, Bomba Ding, and Zymba Ding, stunned the audience with their bold, glamorous, and fearless performances—reminding everyone that art is a powerful form of advocacy.
Following the drag acts, inspiring spoken word pieces by our very own Ka-Globe MK Lacsamana from Customer Experience Creation (CXC) and Mark Dimaisip from Human Resources, together with guest Dr. Jerome Cleofas, a college professor, poetry slam champion and songwriter from the performing arts group CollaboratoryPH, brought raw emotion and powerful messages about identity, resilience, and pride. Their words resonated deeply, echoing that love out loud and the freedom to be yourself is a celebration of every individual’s unique journey.
Community & Connection: Building Inclusive Spaces Beyond June
Throughout the event, attendees were encouraged to connect with Globe Inclusion Networks, like The G Network, which empowers women, and the PRIDE Network, our community of LGBTQIA+ members and allies. These groups aren’t just for Pride Month—they’re ongoing platforms for support, education, and activism that help us embed inclusion into our everyday work culture.
Participants also enjoyed using the Best Self Photo Booth, where they proudly wore their #PrideWednesday fits and shared handwritten messages of love and acceptance—visual proof of Globe’s vibrant, unapologetic embrace of diversity.
And of course, plenty of snacks and drinks kept everyone energized to celebrate, connect, and affirm that love and inclusion are principles we uphold loudly and proudly.
Pride Is a Year-Round Commitment
As we close Pride Month, Globe reaffirms that our commitment to DEIB isn’t just a June event—it’s a way of life. We continue to build a workplace grounded in respect, kindness, and authentic connection. Our pride in diversity fuels our innovation, compassion, and collective strength.

Because at Globe, we know that when we cultivate an environment where everyone can be their true selves—open, loved, and supported—everyone benefits. We’re not just celebrating pride for a month; we’re embracing a future where love out loud is our daily truth.
Together, we love out loud—and that love makes us stronger.
