Cynthia Lyn Peredo-Millan reflects on a decade of loyalty, growth, and the endless possibilities created through genuine loyalty and meaningful relationships.

I’ve been with Globe for 10 years now. I look forward to retiring here, knowing I’ve contributed to a company that values its people as much as it values its mission.

Globe has been more than just my workplace—it’s been a second home where my loyalty and passion for growth have thrived. Here, I find that my role extends far beyond being a legal counsel. I’ve seen firsthand how trust and genuine relationships can ignite a culture where possibilities become realities. 

Grateful for moments shared with amazing teammates

My journey with Globe started in 2014, when I stepped into an environment that immediately felt warm and welcoming. Since then, I’ve witnessed my role evolve from a Manager to a Director, then to Senior Director, and now as Assistant Vice President and Head of Infrastructure Legal Services. What keeps me inspired is the continuous growth, both personally and professionally. Globe’s culture of development and opportunity pushes me to learn more, do more, and give more. The support I receive from my superiors, the trust of my team, and the sense of belonging I feel among my colleagues truly reinforce my loyalty and passion to continue working here.

Globe isn’t just a workplace; it’s my second family. Our strong bond and shared purpose make my dedication to the company feel innate.

What fuels my loyalty and commitment isn’t just the opportunities I’ve had, it’s the relationships I’ve built. My colleagues are like family, and that sense of belonging is a powerful motivator. I genuinely feel that the trust, camaraderie, and shared purpose we share make every challenge easier and every success sweeter.

When I’m at Globe, I feel inspired to give my very best because I know that I am part of something bigger,  a movement that empowers millions by creating possibilities for a brighter future.

Sabi nga nila, mahirap daw makapasok sa Globe. Naniniwala naman ako doon, kasi mataas talaga standards. But once na nandito ka na, hindi ka mahihiyang magsabi, ”taga-Globe ako.”

Working hand-in-hand with my colleagues in Legal and supporting our internal clients, mostly from the Network Technical Group (NTG), has been and will always be a source of deep pride. I remember the times we’ve spent long hours, nights even, working tirelessly on critical projects, not because we had to, but because we believed in what we were building and trying to achieve. Nakakapagod, pero worth it! Such moments of camaraderie and shared commitment remind me daily how our collective efforts create possibilities for Globe and its people.

Making memories with my sons

What keeps me motivated to go forward is my family and loved ones — especially my two sons. They are my anchors and my inspiration. As a working mom, I constantly balance the demands of my career, personal life, and family. My daily motivation often springs from the small, cherished moments with my children and loved ones—sharing their dreams and milestones, and expressions of love—which serve as a powerful reminder of my purpose and the future I am building.

Fun adventures with family

Additionally, personal passions like hobbies, self-care routines, or quiet reflection during weekends provide essential rejuvenation, allowing me to approach both my professional responsibilities and family commitments with renewed energy and a more positive perspective. These personal moments remind me that loyalty isn’t just about staying in one place, but about investing genuine care and love in the relationships that matter most.

My life at Globe is characterized by ongoing growth, meaningful relationships, and a deep sense of contribution. I see the possibilities ahead — further professional development, stronger personal connections, and continued impact on the company’s mission. As my journey progresses, I look forward to staying loyal and contributing to a culture where possibilities flourish because of the trust and dedication we all share.

As I look to the future, I envision myself retiring from Globe, a place I’ve poured my heart into for over a decade. Gusto ko dito ako mag-retire. I believe that loyalty isn’t just about staying; it’s about genuinely caring and investing in the growth of the company and the people around us.
