On May 9, 2026, the hardwood at Gameville Ballpark witnessed history as Team Globe hoisted its first-ever championship trophy, taking down Anytime Fitness 89-79 in the high-stakes Kings Division of the NEO Office Sportsfest 2026.

The Road to Perfection

Team Globe didn't just play—they dominated, finishing the tournament with a flawless 8-0 record. From a massive 100-44 blowout against AITI to a nail-biting 103-99 victory over Quisumbing-Torres, the team showed they could handle both the easy wins and the crunch-time pressure.

"The main reason for this performance is pure commitment," says Playing Head Coach Zaldy Santos (Enterprise Data and Strategic Service).

"Despite everyone’s packed schedules, we consistently had the numbers and the heart to show up every single game."

While the win was a total team effort, a few standout performances earned some extra hardware:

• Finals MVP: Vince Manalad (B2B)

• Mythical Five Member: Marvin Baldivia (B2C)

But for the team, the real victory was in the trust they built. Vince Manalad shared that the secret sauce was giving teammates the space to fail and recover:

"You have to trust each player; it gives them the confidence to play their role at the highest level."
