Internships are often seen as short-term experiences. At Globe, they become stepping stones to lasting careers.
In the first half of 2025 alone, Globe welcomed over 300 interns nationwide, giving young people the chance to work on real projects, serve communities, and learn from mentors. For many, these opportunities have led to full-time roles, including Innah Antoinette Perez and Timothy Bato, whose paths show how early experiences can shape both careers and character.

Innah’s Journey Back
Lead Expert - Solutions Architecture | Network Innovation & Service Planning

As an intern at Globe’s Calapan hub, Innah joined engineers on site visits and tower climbs, witnessing how far the team would go to keep customers connected.
“What struck me most was the perseverance of the team,” she recalled. “No matter how far or difficult the sites were, they would go anytime to make sure the network was up for customers.”
After graduation, she pursued other opportunities before reconnecting with Globe through Asticom. Three years later, in the middle of the pandemic, she officially became a Ka-Globe. Now a Lead Expert – Solutions Architecture, Network Innovation and Service Planning, she carries with her the lessons of resilience.
“It taught me patience and perseverance,” she said. “Being hired during such a challenging time made me value resilience even more. Now I carry that into everything I do.”
Recently, Innah also achieved a significant professional milestone, upgrading her license from Electronics Engineer (ECE) to Professional Electronics Engineer (PECE), a recognition of her continued growth and technical expertise in the field.
Timothy’s First Step
Expert - Data Analytics & Intelligence | Sustainability & Corporate Communications

Timothy joined Globe differently: he applied for an internship after finishing college, seeking real-world experience that connected to his psychology and development studies background.
“As a communications intern, I was empowered to join purpose-driven programs such as Senior Digizen, Digital Thumbprint Program, and the Hapag Movement,” he shared. “At first, I saw the internship as a mere avenue to apply what I learned in class, but having immersed myself in these programs, I decided that I wanted to further support Globe’s mission of uplifting Filipino lives.”
That internship opened the door to a full-time role. Today, as Expert for Data Analytics and Intelligence, Sustainability and Corporate Communications, Timothy describes Globe as “a dynamic playground for both beginners and veterans,” where challenges are met with guidance and support.
Where Belonging Begins
Globe’s recent certification as a Great Place to Work® affirms its culture of care, one where innovation thrives because people do. It’s proof that Globe is not just a workplace, but a community where careers are nurtured with purpose and belonging.
Together, Innah and Timothy’s journeys reflect what many interns discover at Globe: that early opportunities, when paired with purpose and mentorship, can grow into careers that matter.
“Globe celebrates the energy, creativity, and resilience of young professionals,” said Renato Manuel M. Jiao, Chief Human Resource Officer. “We don’t just welcome interns to learn, we make space for them to thrive, discover purpose, and grow with us as lifelong Ka-Globe.”
As Globe marked 917 GDay 2025 under the theme Globe Celebrates You, their stories embody what it means to be a Great Place to Work®, a place where belonging begins with opportunity, and the future is built every day.
