Over the past 13 years with Globe, I've found a space where my professional ambitions align perfectly with creating everyday possibilities for our customers and community. It's more than a job; it’s a calling that allows me to connect my technical expertise with a genuine passion for service.
One of the moments that truly made me proud was working on the access capacity for Globe’s Free Facebook campaign. As a Senior Engineer at the time, I was assigned to ensure our network could handle the surge of traffic from this innovative project. I remember my colleagues teasing me with, “Go mo na yan, Jay,” as I was crunching the network calculations. Those days were intense yet thrilling. Initially, it seemed like just another technical exercise, but then I realized it was revolutionary.

Looking back more than 10 years later, I found how groundbreaking the program was for Globe and for our subscribers. It helped millions become more data-savvy, introduced them to Facebook and social media, and shaped new digital habits.
I take pride in knowing that the calculations I made back then ensured Globe’s network could handle the surge of traffic—and it did.
Always making sure we keep our customers connected
As a leader, I see my role as an authentic guide, demonstrating by example how we can turn challenges into opportunities. I believe in seeing the good in people, fostering a culture of collaboration, and working with my team as one family. Our shared purpose is to serve our subscribers with commitment and creativity, because at the end of the day, it’s their plans—whether to stay connected with loved ones, build careers, or simply explore—that inspire ours.

Outside of work, my family is my greatest source of inspiration. Behind every success and every challenge, I see my family’s love and support.
They inspire me to be the best father, engineer, and leader I can be, because I want them to always be proud of who I am and what I do. Their aspirations and kindness motivate me to lead our team with the same care and dedication, knowing that our shared effort helps realize the dreams of millions.
My wife and kids are my “day ones” and my biggest supporters. I’ve always believed that behind the success of a man, is a woman. My wife—she is my rock and truly the rockstar of our family. We are a team who supports each other, but I give her full credit for how our children are growing up to be God-fearing and kind.

I often say weekends are for family — we eat, exercise, explore Rizal or UP, and just enjoy each other’s company. These moments reset my spirit and remind me why I do what I do.
When I’m out with them, I also take the chance to check our territory — making sure our services are reliable, our signal is strong, and that Globe’s network continues to create possibilities for our community.
That way, I see firsthand how every weekend, and every day, can be about strengthening the connections that truly matter.

To sum it up, my life at Globe has been truly fulfilling because it gives me purpose. I feel fortunate that what I studied in college is exactly what I am doing now in my work. What makes it even more meaningful is knowing that my tasks at Globe create an instant and tangible impact—not only for myself, but also for my family, friends, and the wider community especially my territory—through mobile, broadband, and any form of connectivity that Globe provides.
