As we close off Pride Month, Ernest reminds us that true allyship is not something practiced once a year, but embedded into our culture.

As a #KaGlobeAlly, I believe in creating an environment where everyone feels respected and valued, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression. Embracing diverse perspectives fosters a more inclusive workplace and reinforces our commitment to making a meaningful difference together.
On June 18, 2024, we celebrated Pride Night at TGT with a Pride March; explosive performances from Tiny Deluxe and Astrid Mercury, queens from Drag Race Philippines; a stand-up comedy set from Baus Rufo; and a special message from Apple Evangelista, Director of Sustainability and Social Responsibility from Corporate Communications.
Being an ally means advocating for equal opportunities and ensuring everyone can thrive in a safe and supportive environment. This is not just about showing support during Pride month but embedding these values into our culture.
On June 28, 2024, we held a SOGIE Workshop in-person and online so Ka-Globe could gain a deeper understanding of their identity and the LGBTQ+ community. Participants gathered in a Padlet to share their ideas on how to create a more SOGIESC-responsive workplace.
We invite everyone to join us in being allies. By becoming a #KaGlobeAlly, you can make a difference in promoting equality and acceptance within our workplace.
#KaGlobeAlly Rizza and Ato join Ernest in showing their allyship.
Let’s heed Ernest’s call and declare that we are a #KaGlobeAlly in the comments below!
You are also encouraged to post selfies on Workplace with the “We Value People and Together We Make the Difference” hand sign 🤞 like Ernest to show your support.
