In 2023, we renewed our commitment to our values and traversed the Globe Way together. Let’s look back on our journey so far.
Read about our Ka-Globe from B2B, the second-placer of last year’s GDay Floor Decoration Contest, and the story of how they came together in the spirit of the celebration.

You open your eyes. It’s a new morning. On the calendar: 09/17. It’s GDay.
As Globe’s original prefix, “0917” has always signified the beginning of something wonderful. For our customers, it’s the key to endless possibilities. For us, it’s the first step to putting our purpose into action.
Every September 17 (or at least around that time), we get together to celebrate the heart and soul of Globe – its people. You’re excited for the day ahead, albeit a little tired from staying in the office last night to decorate your floor for the Decoration Contest. You put on your best 917 shirt, which your teammates will also be wearing.
10 AM: Give away special B2B donuts
Led by the B2B Marketing Team, donuts were given to Globe Business customers to delight the majority of business SPOCS. These donuts were personally delivered by Account Managers. This Globe Business-branded donuts also had a QR code in its packaging leading to a product feature website for leads generation.
11 AM: Support your Ka-B2B at the Best2Buy Marketplace
The People and Culture Excellence Team organized the first-ever B2B Marketplace, which aimed to highlight and support business owners within our B2B group. It was also an opportunity for the new B2B group to get to know each other, have a chat, and showcase their products.
1 PM: Andy’s coming!
Despite their differences, the toys decided to stick together to save their friend — this was our anchor on why we chose the Toy Story theme. The toys come from various backgrounds and have unique personalities, yet they learn to embrace their differences and work together towards common goals. Similarly, as we are now One B2B, we wanted our design to reflect diversity through a mix of colors, textures, and elements that come together harmoniously.
The toys also realize that they are stronger together than they are alone. Similarly, we want to emphasize the importance of collaboration and teamwork.
The decision to choose Toy Story as our theme is not just about creating a visually appealing space, but about infusing our space with the values of unity, friendship, and perseverance that the movie embodies. We created a space that reflects our love for the movie and inspires us to work collaboratively, supportively, and creatively.

We sent a Google form to our Ka-B2B to collect their commitments. We created a digital commitment board using one of the toys in Toy Story: etch-a-sketch.
The experience of writing our commitments can be empowering, enlightening, and transformative. It's a powerful tool for personal growth, goal setting, and ultimately, living a more intentional and fulfilling life.
3 PM: Take the cutest groufies at the photobooth
This is our DIY photobooth, and yes, it was open for everyone.
5 PM: Cap off the day with a Drag Race viewing party
In the same vein of diversity and being stronger together, we organized this event to foster inclusivity and create an environment where everyone feels welcome, respected, and represented.
