When people talk about love stories, they usually talk about romance—meet-cutes, butterflies, and grand gestures. But there is another kind of love that is just as powerful: the kind that is seasoned, resilient, and deeply rooted.
As I look back on my 30 years here, that is exactly how I would describe my journey with Globe: a lifetime partnership.

It isn’t a fleeting romance. It’s a story of commitment where we have grown old and wise together. Like any enduring marriage, we’ve navigated seasons of change, celebrated milestones, and stood by each other through the inevitable challenges.

Looking back to my very first day, I remember simply wanting a stable path. Waking up every morning knowing I have a job to go to is a blessing I never take for granted.
But at Globe, I found so much more than just security. I stayed because this wasn't just a workplace; it was a school where I could learn something new every day, and a home where the people truly looked out for one another.
That combination of stability and a supportive "family" made it easy to choose Globe every single day for three decades.
I Am More Than Just an Employee
What truly cemented this relationship for me were the moments when life got heavy. Globe has been the steady background music to the most important chapters of my life. When I wanted to move forward in my career, the company gave me the tools and the stage to perform. But more importantly, when my family faced challenges, Globe didn’t just offer a paycheck, they offered understanding and a safety net.
I remember moments when my leaders, teammates, and our HR Team reached out not to ask about a deadline, but to ask, "How are you really doing?"
To be given the flexibility and the grace to prioritize my family’s well-being without fear of losing my standing at work is a rare kind of love. It made me realize that Globe doesn't just invest in my skills; they truly care about my personhood and my peace of mind. I will always be deeply grateful for a company that treated me as a human being first and an employee second.
Even after 30 years, you might wonder what keeps the passion alive. For me, it’s the "why" behind the "what." On the busiest, most stressful days, I remind myself that my work serves a purpose and touches lives.

There’s a specific kind of energy here that encourages you to keep growing, no matter how long you’ve been in the game. A huge part of that comes from the unwavering support of our leaders, who trust us and empower us to do our best. It’s the small moments of teamwork, especially with my colleagues in Broadband, and the genuine smiles in the hallway that make my work feel meaningful and turn a simple job into a joy.
My journey in Globe is equipped with so much fruitful experiences that enabled me to be who I am today.
My teammates are my biggest motivators; their dedication is truly contagious. Knowing that I am still learning, still evolving, and still surrounded by a company that lives its values keeps my fire burning, no matter how tough the day gets. Having leaders who guide with heart and a Ka-Broadband team that stands together through every challenge is what makes me proud to stay committed after all these years.
As we celebrate Love Month, I want to share a wish for all my fellow Ka-Globe: find the heart in your hard work. When you shift your perspective from "having to work" to "getting to grow," everything changes.
