Championing Digital and Sustainable Impact - The Ka-Globe Way

My career started with the fast-paced world of events, working in an agency that handled multinational brands and big-ticket productions. But deep down, I knew I wanted more than just executing events. I wanted work that sparked change and allowed me to give back.

In 2019, I joined Globe—a turning point that aligned my passion for communication with a deeper sense of purpose. What began as a corporate events role evolved into leading sustainability and advocacy campaigns, eventually bringing Globe programs closer to communities through the Territory teams. Each chapter has been a testament to Globe’s belief in growing with its people and for its people.

Proud to have been part of the virtual awarding of Globe’s Media Excellence Awards during the pandemic, a powerful tribute to impactful storytelling and the unwavering spirit of journalists in challenging times.

One of the initiatives closest to my heart is the Digital Thumbprint Program (DTP). With the steadfast support of our Territory teams, we have reached 71 schools, impacting over 11,617 students and teachers since 2024. Through 32 stackable modules covering topics like online safety, cyberbullying, responsible use of AI, and more, DTP empowers Filipinos with the knowledge and tools they need to confidently and safely navigate the digital world.

Hapag Movement has been a powerful reminder that when a company supports both your head and your heart, extraordinary things happen. To date, we have surpassed our goal of supporting 100,000 families and are now extending our efforts to provide livelihood assistance and continue addressing involuntary hunger, with the help of our mobilization partners nationwide.

Grateful to celebrate my birthday by extending the Hapag Movement advocacy with my friends and family. Together with Scholars of Sustenance, we served meals to underserved families in Sta. Ana, Manila—one of the communities supported by the Hapag Movement. Honored to have sparked a ripple effect of compassion, inspiring those around me to help others too.

I’m proud to champion sustainability and advocacy programs wherever we go. I take pride in representing the brand’s heart and sharing its mission with our stakeholders, whether in schools, NGOs, or LGU partners. These collaborations have deepened my commitment to our mission and reaffirmed why I chose Globe, a company that blends purpose with forward-thinking innovation.

It’s often said that growth doesn’t happen alone, and I’m grateful to have grown alongside my Globe family. Through every personal and professional milestone, their support has been unwavering. From leaders who lead with empathy to teammates who show up with heart, each one has helped shape not just my career, but the person I am today. I look forward to continuously growing with Globe as it remains steadfast in being both tech-driven and purpose-led. There is still so much more we can do to create meaningful impact, whether through digital inclusion, sustainability, or community development. Personally, I’m excited to take on more roles, lead strategic and cross-functional projects, and help mentor the future changemakers of Globe. The journey I’ve taken and continue to take makes it feel like it's always just the beginning. And honestly, that’s what makes it so fulfilling.
