As part of our vibrant celebration of Women's Month at Globe Telecom in March, we launched a series of initiatives aimed at empowering our female employees and recognizing their invaluable contributions.

The theme, "The G Network," encapsulates our commitment to fostering a strong support system where women uplift one another, share transformative stories, and pave avenues for opportunity.
From March 24 to 31, we filled the week with impactful experiences and meaningful conversations aimed at celebrating women, their stories, and their interconnected journeys. Two standout features emerged from these celebrations: the She-ssentials Tray and Stories That Move Us Forward.
The She-ssentials Tray: A Powerful Gesture of Care and Empowerment
At the heart of our Women’s Month activations was the She-ssentials Tray, a carefully curated initiative that addresses the everyday needs of our female employees. These trays, strategically placed in women’s restrooms throughout The Globe Tower (TGT), W City Center (WCC), and our regional offices across the country, are filled with essential items women truly need, as identified by the women of the G Network themselves.

From band-aids for unexpected blisters to sanitary pads for emergencies, hair ties, wipes, and pimple patches, each tray serves as a thoughtful gesture of care and understanding. This initiative goes far beyond traditional tokens of appreciation like flowers and cards; it embodies a commitment to supporting our female employees through everyday moments that matter.
When we recognize and celebrate the successes of women, we move forward together, creating a more connected and empowered workplace.

Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with many women expressing gratitude for having these essential supplies readily available, particularly during busy periods. The She-ssentials Tray not only demonstrates our understanding of the real-life experiences of women at Globe but also exemplifies our dedication to promoting a supportive workplace culture where their needs are genuinely acknowledged.
Stories That Move Us Forward: Celebrating Women’s Journeys
Our initiative to celebrate women's stories was also present in “Stories That Move Us Forward,” where we gathered remarkable narratives from women across Globe. These stories come to life through a hybrid experience showcased on the Create Everyday Possibilities shelf and on our employer branding website.

Located in the The Globe Tower lobby, the Create Everyday Possibilities shelf features pink and purple items, each representing unique pieces of women’s personal journeys—items tied to their experiences at Globe, reflecting their personalities, or resonating with their life stories. Each item is interactive, equipped with a QR code that links directly to the individual's story on the EVP website, facilitating deeper engagement.

Globe reaffirms its dedication to building a workplace where every individual can excel and create a future filled with endless possibilities. This is evident in the stories of women like Rachell Antiforda Salang, a leader in Globe's Signaling Security team, who embodies the "Lead Beyond the Ordinary" pillar under Globe’s EVP.
"Globe provides an environment where I can grow, lead with resilience, and contribute to an innovative future." - Rachell
Similarly, Feberly Baritua, Product Experience Manager, whose journey "from conquering the cosmos as a spacecraft engineer to conquering our customers' needs," perfectly illustrates how Globe encourages its employees to "Innovate Without Fear." Feberly's story showcases how Globe empowers women to take on challenging roles and make significant contributions.
"Globe is truly a place where you have the freedom and power to bring extraordinary things to life. Ilang years pa ang itatagal ko sa Globe. At gusto ko dito na ako mag-retire." - Cynthia
Globe also understands that personal and professional growth go hand-in-hand. Abigail Modales, a Gen Z Law Student and Fraud Forensics Expert, exemplifies this, noting how Globe provides "an environment to thrive as a student and young professional," aligning with the "Celebrate Your Best Self" pillar. And for Atty. Cynthia Millan, Legal Counsel and Senior Director who’s been with the company since 2014, desires to make Globe her long-term career home.
To add a personal touch, these items are gifted to the women as a special keepsake at the end of Women’s Month. This initiative not only celebrates achievements but also fosters a sense of community by shining a light on the incredible stories that inspire all of us. When we recognize and celebrate the successes of women, we move forward together, creating a more connected and empowered workplace.
Through these innovative initiatives, Globe Telecom demonstrates its unwavering commitment to capturing the voices and stories of its female workforce while addressing their everyday needs.
As we continue to honor women not just in March but throughout the year, we invite everyone to reflect on and share their unique stories, contributing to a workplace rich in inspiration and support.
