Feberly Baritua’s story is a beautiful journey of resilience, curiosity, and a deep desire to make a difference. From exploring the vastness of space to creating meaningful experiences on Earth, her path is guided by the belief that our journeys can inspire others.

From gazing at the stars during childhood to solving anomalies in space systems as a spacecraft engineer, my journey has always been fueled by a simple yet powerful desire: to be part of something larger than myself. I’ve always wanted to leave this world a little better than I found it. That drive first led me to the cosmos, where physics and the thrill of unraveling complex problems in systems orbiting above us captivated me. Space was my universe—vast, mysterious, full of wonder. But as I grew, I realized that my impact could extend closer to home, and that is to tangibly touch lives here on Earth.

Transitioning from space technology to leading product experiences at Globe was, for me, a conscious choice to shift from systems floating in the void to systems that connect and empower people. I often reflect on a line from Hamilton, “When my time is up, have I done enough?” That question pushes me to live intentionally, to “suck out all the marrow of life,” as Thoreau put it.
Moving into product management was my way of channeling that energy to create meaningful experiences for millions of Filipinos—helping them connect, communicate, and belong.
Elizabeth Gilbert describes the “hummingbird,” the person whose curiosity guides them across various fields, weaving ideas in new and unexpected ways. I see myself in that image, an explorer whose journey may seem different or unusual, but each step informs the other. Every discipline has taught me invaluable lessons: tracing problems back to their roots, designing precise solutions under pressure, and most importantly, listening deeply to what people need. Today, I use that same discipline and curiosity to craft products that improve lives, one interaction at a time.
Our first out-of-the-country family trip to Disneyland in celebration of my mother’s 72nd birthday.
Life took a sudden and profound turn when my mom had two consecutive strokes. Everything changed. Watching her fight to recover made me reassess what truly matters, that it's not just about space or tech, but about the people I love and the real impact I can make in their lives. Caring for her was one of the hardest and most transformative experiences I’ve had; her resilience became my guide, showing me that true strength is about showing up daily, even when it’s tough. From her, I learned that loyalty is about presence, being there through every victory and setback, and I carry that lesson into my work, committed to my team and the communities I serve.

Despite these personal challenges, I’ve found strength in my passions—writing, poetry, singing, and dancing.
These activities keep me grounded, allowing me to process difficult emotions and turn them into something beautiful. I also find solace in my faith, believing that there is a higher power guiding us. Attending gatherings like The Feast has helped me stay rooted in hope and purpose, especially when life feels overwhelming.
Speaking at the FEU Institute of Technology during the Scholarship Awarding Ceremony, where I had the opportunity to share my journey and inspire Tamaraw Scholars to pursue their dreams with courage and perseverance.
Coming from a family classified as Class D/E, daring to dream felt like an impossible luxury. To make ends meet, we sold banana cue, grilled corn, and other small goods. Yet, through perseverance and the support of those who believed in me, I was able to carve my own path.
Every time I speak to young people from my community, I see my own doubts reflected in their eyes: “Is it even possible for someone like me?”
But, this reminds me that my story is a testament to possibility. I want them to believe that growth is for everyone, that dreams are valid, and that change is real. My story, across space and telecom, is about chasing possibilities and then passing them along. I am still growing, striving to learn, create, and build bridges for others to cross.

At Globe, my world is a place of open learning and genuine connection. Coming from a technical background, I often felt like I didn’t belong in the corporate space. I was unsure of myself and sometimes even lost. But through mentorship and support from my colleagues, I learned that my voice mattered. Globe has become more than a place to work; it’s a community that believes in potential, sometimes before we even believe in ourselves.

Beyond work, I am a daughter and a sister who feels deeply. My experiences have shaped me into someone who believes that even the smallest actions can make a big difference.
When I see my mother taste food she couldn’t afford before or stay in hotels she once only dreamed of, I am reminded that all our efforts ripple outward and lift others along the way.
Sharing stories on stage gives me a way to process my experiences and inspire others. They remind me that life is more than milestones—there’s beauty in the process, in the everyday moments that shape who we are.

And so, I stand here, grateful for every step taken, every lesson learned, and every person who believed in me along the way. My story is still being written, but one thing I know for sure: true impact begins when we share our journey.
