A Wanda-ful Comeback in 2023: Reigniting a Culture of Appreciation

In 2023, we moved Wanda our recognition bot into a new platform. The numbers speak volumes, and the positive impact on our workplace is remarkable.

Wanda took a quick break from May 2023 to August 2023. She has made her triumphant return on Workplace. Wanda’s return with redesigned Globe Way e-cards, which feature fun descriptions of The Globe Way, has played a pivotal role in boosting its usage.

Instead of the statements in The Globe Way Values (e.g. We Put Customers First, We Keep Things Simple, We Care Like an Owner), descriptors of people who exhibit the values took centerstage (e.g. Customer Champ, Simply Stellar, Chief of Care).

Increased Usage of Globe Way Values e-cards

In 2023, recognition moments shared within our teams have soared to an all-time high: a total of 3858 Globe Way e-cards were given, reinforcing the values that make our workplace wonderful. Including the regular thank you e-cards, a total of 4861 e-cards were given during GDay month.

Regional Recognition Awards Take Center Stage

In our regional offices, Wanda’s Globe Way e-cards has become an inspiration for recognizing outstanding contributions. They embraced Wanda Globe Way e-cards to celebrate achievements and milestones, fostering a culture of appreciation.

The 10.10.10 Challenge: A Triumph of Recognition

The highlight of 2023 was undoubtedly the 10.10.10 Challenge in September, where 3085 e-cards were given. Our Ka-Globe seized the opportunity to express gratitude and win exclusive Globe Way merch.

What's Next in 2024? 

Selected Ka-Globe were given The Globe Way Deskmats and The Globe Way Totebags for sending at least 10 e-cards between September and December 2023. These designs were consistent with the Globe Way Wall decals installed nead the end of 2023.

As we’re starting 2024, anticipate even more exciting activations from Wanda and get the chance to win exclusive merch and other freebies. This will take recognition to new heights, promising more opportunities to connect, appreciate, and share the joy within our vibrant workplace.
