A SSSpectacular Lunar New Year at Globe: Ushering in Prosperity and Possibilities

The Globe Tower was a kaleidoscope of red, gold, and purple on January 27th, 2025, as we celebrated the Lunar New Year with an event that was truly SSSpectacular! More than just a festive occasion, this year's celebration served as the perfect backdrop for unveiling our employer branding statement: Create Everyday Possibilities.
The Lunar New Year celebration ignited with a vibrant lion dance in the Globe Tower lobby. The dynamic performance, filled with rhythmic drumming and dazzling movements, created a surge of positive energy, setting the stage for a year of prosperity and purpose. Central to the celebration was the launch of the "Create Everyday Possibilities" shelf, a dynamic interactive display in our lobby, showcasing inspiring stories from Ka-Globe colleagues.
Adding to the day's magic, Globe Chief Human Resources Officer Ato Jiao joined in the celebrations. He explored the interactive shelves, experiencing the inspiring stories firsthand. He even took part in the traditional lion dance ritual, painting the lion's eye – a symbolic gesture of bringing good luck and prosperity. Like many others, he received a fortune cookie, his message reading, "Expect the unexpected."
And the fortune cookies didn't stop there! Every Globe employee received one at their desk, each containing a unique message. The sharing of fortune cookie messages became a highlight of the day, with many employees enthusiastically sharing their fortunes and, more importantly, what spectacular possibilities they envisioned creating in 2025.
